HEY ALL Thursday and Friday very important!!
CARDBOARD CUTTING SESSIONS
Downstairs video studio (Exhibition space)
10AM to 6PM Thursday and Friday!!

Sculptures
hi guys!
Here's some 3d shots of the space layout and the shapes for which we are going to build the sculptures. sounds awesome ey!
the shapes will not be coloured like the ones here, that's just so we can pick put the shapes in 3D...
Also the octagon shapes and circle may not have the middles cut out of them, this might give the sculpture more strength. if anyone can think up some ideas on how they see the "sculptures" being setup please feel free to email me an ill arrange it in 3D. Also if anyone would like the Maya file to do it themselves an play about with the shapes give us a yell an ill send it to you!
Reminders for Wednesday: ill need aaaaaallll ppl involved to help cutting shapes, line marking and initial setup. so bring your cutting tools if you have any, Troy has some on order for us to use if you cant bring your own. We do need some large metal rulers so if you can bring them along that would be coolies too.

30 Reel and Face
The 30 Second Reel and Face is due on Wednesday,
I (alister) will be waiting here in G2.29 to collect everyone's works
from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If G2.29 is occupied I will be in G1.09
-The After Effects Team

Everyone in this team will have to collect all the material from me from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Wednesday or on Thursday 10:00am to 12:00pm. There is a large amount of data so bring your external drives.

-Our task, we each create, with the use of everyone's works 'stuff' to be projected. 5 projectors, each team mate in charge of one projection. The original idea was my scrolling mosaic of everyone's playing reels one after the other with a changing face on top, the face will change in relation to the reel playing at the time. However if anyone wants to build on this idea or has any thoughts on how they would like to project the work, discuss it with me when we meet up. One projection has to be just reels after the other, full screen.

Reminder and Slight change
HI everybody, This is a reminder on whats due on Monday 27th
Each student must...
-Create a flying head animation in .mov format
30 second loop of your face or an artistic interpretation of your face, animate it anyway you wish.
The background must be black.
Dimensions: 192 width, 144 height, square pixels
-Create a 30 second reel in .mov format
Display your favorite works, anything you have created (animated to stills). Present them however you wish in a 30 second loop (NO sound).
Dimensions: 768 width, 576 height, square pixels.
The Change...
There is no sound needed for any of the works you are making. Discussed today with Troy and Cam Rose, because there are so many people coming to Open day it would be best to leave out all sound for your reel and floating head. Just background music will be playing...
For anyone who has already had a phrase to say they feel is important, I apologize for the scrapping of the sound. Sorry guys :(
